The People’s Own Savings Bank (POSB) is thrilled to announce the onboarding of new agents to enhance convenience banking services for its valued customers. This initiative is part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to making banking services more accessible and efficient for everyone, in line with its financial inclusion thrust.
The new additions include Bard Santner Markets Inc (trading as TX Money Transfer) with six outlets located in Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls: Caroloas Investments with two outlets in Hauna- Honde Valley and Mt Darwin. Customers in Hwedza can now visit Siyawakuya Shop number 77 to access POSB convenience banking services.
These agents provide smoother and more accessible customer banking experience. At these new agents’ outlets, customers can deposit and withdraw cash (USD or ZWG), and complete forms for loan applications, account openings, or Bancassurance services (Nyaradzo, First Mutual Life, and Ecosure).
In addition to these services, the Bank will soon be introducing DSTV payments, ZESA, airtime sales, ZWG & USD remittances to non-POSB account holders, and further Bancassurance products.
“The onboarding of additional agents is a significant step in our mission to provide convenient and accessible banking services to all our customers. We are committed to continuously improving our delivery channels and ensuring that our customers can access banking services within their local communities. A customer in Hauna, Honde Valley, for instance, can now access the Bank’s products and services through Caroloas Investments,” POSB said in statement.
These enhancements are part of POSB’s continuous efforts to bring comprehensive banking services closer to customers.
The onboarding of additional agents comes a few months after POSB introduced Convenience Banking Services in selected Zimpost offices, where the Bank’s customers can access various banking services within their local communities.
POSB encourages its customers to also use digital platforms including ‘On the App’, WhatsApp Banking, Cellbank, and Online Banking, which are readily available anytime and from anywhere.
