The People’s Own Savings Bank (POSB) and the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) joined forces to hold a Happy Hour Promotion on Sunday 3 September 2023, at the Shamva tollgate.

During the Happy Hour promotion, 1000 lucky motorists who passed through the Shamva tollgate had their toll fees paid by POSB. Customers with POSB accounts also received tokens of appreciation in recognition of their loyalty.

The promotion was a wonderful way of showing appreciation to the loyal and potential customers of both organisations. The Bank also took the opportunity to market its highly sought after prepaid and debit Mastercard, among other products and services.

The event saw the POSB team, including executives and senior managers, interacting with motorists and paying their tolls fees, making the queues move faster and more efficient, on a day the roads had increased traffic due to the back-to-school trips.

Motorists were overjoyed with the gesture and some expressed their gratitude on social media. 

“I was so happy when I reached the tollgate and they told me that POSB had paid for my toll fee. It was such a sweet surprise and it made my day. Thank you POSB for your generosity and kindness. You are the best bank in Zimbabwe,” Mr Tinashe Moyo, one of the lucky motorists posted on Facebook.
